Dear Fellow
Class Members,
I
wish to take a moment to thank all of you for being who you are, my
friends and classmates. Over the years we have had many reunions filled
with many happy memories for me and you to cherish. Each one was planned
in hopes that all attending would have a most enjoyable time. There
have been many who have planned and worked on each reunion, and to
these we all owe much gratitude.
At
this past reunion, I was touched as I sat and looked at those attending
the event. The many smiles, laughter, and hugs going on in that room
were a tribute to us as a group of comrades walking the road of life
in the same time frame. We all shared stories about our life experiences,
some were happy, some sad. The bond of time links us now, then, and
days to come, I hope those coming days are happy, fulfilling ones
for us all.
This
website was created as a place for us to remember the past but to
connect in the future. Through the advent of modern communication,
we have a means to visit and share our lives and friendships almost
continuously. We can do this through postings on this site and by
keeping one another updated on our email addresses. I can speak for
everyone on our last reunion committee, when I say that we welcome
everyone’s ideas and comments. We are requesting that everyone
who is willing, supply us with their updated email address, so that
we can create our own Class of 66 contact list. If your address at
anytime changes, you can notify me or any one on the committee and
we will update the listing.
To
all who view this site, I welcome you and wish you enjoyment as you
visit with the New Albany High School Class of 1966.
